Remote Mac Support With Remotix

Remotix is a robust and flexible tool for providing remote support to clients. It allows me to observe or control your screen, upload and download files, get reports on the status and configuration of your Mac, and run Unix terminal commands. I use the Remotix App to view and control your Mac's screen. You will need to install either the Remotix Agent or the Remotix QC app on your Mac in order for me to be able to remotely view and control your Mac. The Remotix Agent allows for ongoing monitoring and access to your Mac, while the Remotic QC app permits one-time access. You can download them by clicking on the icons above. The Remotix Agent download will be in the form of an Installer package which you will double-click to install. The Remotix QC download is a zip file, which you will double-click to expand and use immediately. If you are using the Remotix QC app for a support session, I will ask you for the Computer ID and Access Code, which are displayed in the Remotix QC app window. I will use that information to connect to your Mac with Remotix. If you have installed and configured the Remotix Agent to authorize it, I will be able to access and control your Mac at any time.

To use this solution, your Mac must be running at least macOS 10.9 (Mavericks), and you need to have a broadband internet connection. Once you have downloaded and configured the Remotix Agent or the Remotix QC app, you can contact me to make an appointment for a remote support session or to set up ongoing monitoring and support for your Mac. If you need help setting up the Remotix Agent or the Remotix QC app, please call or send a help request through the contact page. I will either email additional setup instructions, or I can walk you through it on the phone or FaceTime. Also, keep in mind that Remotix itself might be useful to you if you want to access your own Mac(s) remotely. The current version of Remotix for Mac requires macOS 10.11 (El Capitan) or later.
